Where, when and how did Ruqqayya the daughter of Imam Hussain (as) die? How old was she? Where is she buried?

According to different historical accounts, between the 3rd and 13th Safar is the martyrdom anniversary of Bibi Ruqqayya bint-al-Hussain(as) – the 4-year old beloved daughter of Imam Hussain(as) who died in the prison of Damascus after the family of the Prophet Mohammad(s) was made prisoner after the events of Karbala and detained in the prison of Damascus. She is also known as Sakina bint-al-Hussain(as) in the Arab world (Some historians doubt this and say that Sakina(as) and Ruqqayya(as) are two different characters).

The pain of the memories and sufferings, during and after the unimaginable events of Ashura, lived on with those who survived to tell the stories and narrate the happenings of those earth shattering days for the people of that time, for the people of today, and for the people of tomorrow. May Allah (swt) give them eternal bliss and peace, insh’Allah. These events narrated by Imam Ali b. Husayn Zayn al-Abidin (‘a), also referred to as al-Sajjad (‘a), and his (‘a) aunt, Lady Zaynab b. Ali (‘a), are the most important surviving accounts of the events which have carried the message of Islam, righteousness and honour for which Imam Husayn b. Ali (‘a) was martyred.

Imam Hussein (as) looked at his son kindly and whispered the following sentences:
